FAQ from Doctors

Exploring any new career direction may be a little overwhelming. We’ve compiled some of our most frequently asked questions to help you in your decision-making process.

Absolutely. Practical training for MATA’s Foundation and Advanced Courses is carried out over two days, most commonly at the weekend, with a variety of dates available. Theoretical learning and assignments of longer term courses such as our Level 7 Diploma in Facial Aesthetics are carried out online through our bespoke Virtual Learning Environment, letting you set your own study times to suit your schedule.
We understand that doctors are likely to have the goal of specialising in particular treatment areas. As such, after you have completed Foundation Training, we offer a range of courses that will allow you to refine and develop your skills; including Advanced Courses, Masterclasses, and one-to-one training.
Training in Anti-Wrinkle Injections and dermal fillers can be particularly lucrative for doctors, particularly for those who decide to set-up their own business. Anti-Wrinkle treatments cost an average of $400 to $800 per treatment, with dermal fillers similarly priced; and clients are known to pay a premium to be seen by a doctor above other medical practitioners.
Training with MATA is exclusively available to doctors, dentists and nurses; so delegates attending our courses are drawn from across these professions.
MATA provides a variety of models for all of our courses. If you have a specific training need, our one-to-one training sessions allow you to focus on a specific area, with MATA sourcing models to meet your requirements as far as is possible.
MATA’s Level 7 Diploma in Facial Aesthetics is an internationally recognised qualification designed to take delegates new to the world of aesthetic injectables from a beginner level to an advanced practitioner over the course of six to twelve months; allowing doctors to gain expertise in aesthetics practice relatively quickly, bringing these skills back to their patients.
